On Sunday, the Kerry Club Hurling Final comes around. This year, Causeway return to defend their title. Against them, Kilmoyley are out for their first Championship since 2016.

A victory would make Kilmoyley tied as the most successful hurling Club in the county with twenty-five titles. After winning two-in-a-row in 2015 and 2016, Kilmoyley failed to win the 2018 final. On that occasion, they lost to Lixnaw.
Meanwhile, Causeway aim to add to their eight Championships. Last year, they won by a goal to lift the Neilus Flynn Cup.
Both of these sides won respectably in their semi-final ties. Firstly, Kilmoyley had an eight-point cushion over Abbeydorney. The result was 1-20 to 1-12. Likewise, Causeway overcame Ballyduff without major difficulty. That one ended 1-19 to 0-11.
This means this year’s Kerry Hurling Final throws up two teams who won’t know a lot about each other. Their stable defences could be winning and losing of this game. On the whole, this matchup looks guaranteed to entertain.
